Lucky Bamboo has been growing in popularity in the US and other country's in the last few years partly from Fung Shui but mostly because it is a great houseplant that is very forgiving for those who sometimes forget them.

Bamboo are one of the only plants that you cannot over water. Fill pots weekly and for smaller pots twice weekly. They can be grown in low light to high light, the lower the light the slower the plant will grow. When feeding use 25% of the recommended dosage amount of liquid fertilizer monthly. wash leaves of dust and trim yellow older leaves away.

There are two Styles of bamboo Cane or Braids.  Canes are the larger stalks that have been cut so that a new head or tip will grow out from the side near the top. Braids smaller diameter plants that have never been cut. Braided bamboo will live longer and have more and fuller leaves than canes tips produce.
